DETAILS:
Our dance parties are fantastic, but we know some of the single members of the group are looking for a more structured event with the opportunity for a genuine romantic connection. Here is your chance! Meet other fun singles from the 39+ Ready to Mingle group for this professionally run exclusive speed dating event.
You will have up to 16 mini speed dates during the night, each one lasting about 4-5 minutes.
After each date, you will circle yes or no on your scorecard as to whether or not you would be interested in corresponding with that person further. At the end of the evening you will turn in your scorecard for Weekenddating to tally.. The next morning you will receive an email letting you know who you matched with. The email will provide you with the person's first name and email address and they will get your first name and email address. We even let you know the one way matches (they picked you, but you didn't pick them), just in case you change your mind. There is an additional option to share your phone number with your mutual matches. Thus far 70-80% of the participants leave the event with at least one match (meaning that you picked a person and they picked you too).
Can I just show up?
This is a structured event, so everyone must pre-register in advance to ensure that we can coordinate the event properly. Can I just watch?
Nope. The event will be held in a private area so you wont be able to see the action unless you register.
Can I participate if I am not in the specified age group?
To be fair to the people registering, we ask that you be within 3 years of the specified age group. We are working on some additional age groups for future events.
